Course Description  

This course introduces first-year students in Islamic Sciences to essential English language skills. It focuses on building foundational vocabulary, grammar, and communication strategies needed for daily interactions and basic academic understanding. The course integrates culturally and religiously relevant content to enhance students' engagement and comprehension

General Objective

 To enable students to communicate in English in common daily situations (e.g., ordering food, using transportation, asking for directions)

To expand students’ vocabulary and grammar knowledge in practical contexts

To introduce simple cultural and religious concepts in English to support students’ future engagement with Islamic texts and media in a global context

To lay the foundation for academic reading and comprehension skills in English
